As some regions report COVID-19 surges greater than before, there are calls on the province to reintroduce mandatory masking, with advocates calling it a low-cost tool to lessen transmission. And some medical officers of health are actively discussing the implementing local masking rules. Hamilton-Niagara Ontario Hub journalist Justin Chandler spoke to several MOHs for their thoughts on mandatory masking, and other measures to try to reduce the virus spread.
