COVID-19 cancelled comic conventions and that's bad news for indie creators

From a safe social distance, Toronto comic artist Shane Heron tells Justin and Jacob what the cancellation of upcoming comic conventions means for the launch of his newest project: the latest issue of Cauldron Magazine.

March's Toronto Comicon was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and so was May's Toronto Comics Art Festival (TCAF). On top of that, comic stores are closing and Diamond Comic Distributors is no longer shipping books to shops.

All of it is bad news for small-time comic creators and comics retailers.

RFK airs first on CJRU 1280 AM in Toronto. This episode was produced by Jacob Dubé.
